Savannah SR Green Microlight Aircraft Flying

The Savannah SR is essentially a comprehensive redesign and refinement of the S model, incorporating years of customer and sales network feedback.

It maintains the core all-metal structure, high wing with flaperons, and the high-lift modified airfoil that gives the Savannah its superb handling characteristics.

The S model was a significant step up from its predecessor, but the SR refines this further.

Some key improvements:

Elongated metal engine cowling with two “butterfly” openings for easier engine control access and maintenance.
Integrated strut attachments in the wing and fuselage to improve aerodynamics.
Doors inside the fuselage giving a flush-fitting closure for improved watertightness and a cleaner look.

These refinements are aimed at faster and more pleasant flight, enhancing the overall flight experience, while maintaining the excellent STOL capabilities.

All these improvements also contribute to significant improvements for assembly and maintenance.
